It's the first day of Spring and it looks like the enigmatic Corona virus has sprung us all into action. . . into slowing down enough to let us do things for ourselves, our loved ones and our family. Three years ago today, we landed in Lisbon, Portugal for the start of a family gap … Continue reading Corona Virus Springs (us) into Action and Gives (us) Time
Day 3 of corona virus lockdown here in Jerez de la Frontera, Spain. It's Monday and the first day out of school. There's plenty of things to do with kids at home during coronavirus self-quarantine that doesn't involve the zombifying internet or TV. My two young kids and I recorded it in our our old-but-professional home recording studio in December.
An improvised music activity with my children playing musical instruments was the follow-up to our first-time jamming, first to the all-time children's favorite song "The Lion Sleeps Tonight". As a full-time father and a happy houseband (aka house husband) I have to find activities to keep the kids off the "screen" as much as possible. … Continue reading Father and Sons JAM Session With Kids (a Lullaby) 😊 Family Video
In the spirit of the season, here's the first of our own version of Christmas songs by kids performed in festive Jerezano flamenco style called "Zambomba". This one is (hopefully) a refreshing, family-friendly take on "Joy to the World" in English and in the style of Rumba Flamenca on the guitar, mixed with popular Villancicos … Continue reading Joy to the world (New) Villancicos – Christmas Songs Kids – Mix Spanish-English – Family Video
