about us

Hola. Hello. Czesc. Kamusta!

We are … the free electrons family, a semi-nomadic family of 4 who loves travelling and cultural experiences.

A semi-nomadic, roaming family.

In the spring of 2017 we quit our jobs and moved to Spain from the United States, 2 young kids in tow, then 1.5 and 5 years old.

Our goal? Have a family gap year to change a lifestyle. We wanted to have a freer, happier and simpler life, and more family time together. Our first stop was Spain.

2 years later (and counting) we are still here, with no set jobs, BUT a lot of family fun time, travel and adventures. The boys have been going to public school in an amazingly dynamic, under-privileged part of town. They speak Spanish now.

Life on the road.

We parents (Ania and Six) blog about family lifestyle; tips on moving, living and traveling abroad with kids. We’re all new to this! In fact, Six just crawled out of a cave and did not even have a Facebook account until last year (mid-2018)!!! So, we’re moving it slow but steady.

Our goal for the blog is to inspire you and your family to seize that moment and live your dream. Children are not a hindrance to traveling. Their sense of wonder and adaptability are actually fuel that can drive, even propel, you forward.

Follow along on our blog, Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook and new YouTube channel for updates! Like, share, leave comments and contact us if you have any questions. Thanks. And remember, SHARING IS CARING! Big Smile!
